Perfect to visit Amsterdam without this ruin!

Hotel quite simple 10-12km from the center of Amsterdam and reachable by bus in front of the door or train a few minutes walk which will be best (10’ and you are right in the center of Amsterdam )
The rooms are not very large but more than enough for 2-3 nights, very clean as often in the Netherlands. Kind and friendly staff. Free parking
I will be back with pleasure during a future stay in Amsterdam.

Poor response to cold room complaint

Super cold room and bathroom. Moderate response from reception at check-out: “you could have reported this!” We indicated that we came back at 12:30 in the evening: “yes, I was off duty yesterday, I don’t know what happened”. (??!!) To my comment that I think it is bad that we only work with beep system if something is not right but that it can be indicated in advance that if there is something with the temperature, that we should let it be known (I can not imagine that we are the first to find this a cold room) defensive behavior again. I don't think this shows customer friendliness. Isn't the client king at the Emperor's Crown? Offering a cup of coffee would have been enough and we wouldn't even have accepted that, but it is a nice gesture. Listening, agreeing how annoying this was for us, that's all it is, isn't it? That's your job! Send the reception lady to hospitality training. I don't know what happened but she has forgotten that content or at least she can't apply it!

Good for a short stay

I choose this hotel as it has free parking and is only around 10 minutes from Haarlem by car. Room was clean, quiet, bed comfortable, and the TV had sufficient programs, though it is analogue quality. No refrigerator or cofee/tea making facilities in the rooms though. Bathroom could do with a soap holder in the shower. No towels for the floor when you step out the shower. For the facilities, price was reasonable at 85 Euros including tourist taxes. The bar is beautifully decorated with musical instruments.

Nice place

The hotel's location is excellent, located above a restaurant.
The hotel comes close to the train station and has easy access to the car.
There is a parking problem in the area during the day, but in the evening there is free parking until 9:00 am.
(Excluding weekends)
Rooms are simple and clean.
The downside in summer is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

DO NOT STAY HERE! FRAUD!

We booked two bedrooms in May 2018 and the manager told us they had no rooms for us to stay in since they are overbooked. We had confirmation and they took the money form us.
After we told the manager that we are going get our money back from booking.com then they gave us our room. The rooms were dirty and old and we did not trust the establishment. They looked like hoodlums and seemed like they wanted to scam us. Luckily we called booking.com and got our money back.
DO NOT BOOK HERE.
