Nice quiet hotel

Together with my husband we came on preliminary research to return in September with a group. Nice, quiet hotel. Luxury room we had booked, spacious room. Bathroom with shower with nice hot water. Dinner we did not take here as the choice was pork or fish, since I do not eat either of these we drove to Northorn Germany 12 km.
In the afternoon we entered town on foot 10 minutes walk. Cozy town with lots of gellies

Pointers for improvement

The location is great. Just a short stroll into Ootmarsum, although you have to cross a busier street twice to get to a foot path alongside the Stadsweide parkinglot. Lovely art on the walls and in front of the window. Nice surprise of chocolate and a small sunflower seed pot as gifts.
Mains are not for vegetarians, with one exception and some pizzas. Shower tile calking was moldy. Deluxe room entry was very close to the bed. Vacuuming during breakfast hours is less than ideal. Very raw/hard kiwis as breakfast fruit. Wiring for lights and power sockets 'interesting'. Room doors are far from soundproof for hall noise. Pool is small. Skimpy serving of coffee capsules on arrival in the room. All in all small things that could easily be improved upon. To top it off... undisclosed charge of EUR 3,25 per person per night above the municipal tourist tax of EUR 1,75 pppn. Please be transparant and put that in the room price!

Once in a lifetime experience

my checked-in room was given to someone else, unfortunatly no pro-active action from staff to solve it

Perfect hotel to get to know mrtvde bike Twente. Nice and definitely clean hotel, where you can also swim.

Perfect hotel to take a look at Twente by bike. In addition, ootmarsum is a cozy city. Hotel is very clean and staff very friendly. Definitely worth repeating. Towels sufficient and if you want more they are ready.
You always have people who only complain, but in this case totally unnecessary.

Never again Flow

We had family weekend during Ascension weekend at Hotel Landmarke, part of Flow. Due to an error on their part, the full invoice for 4 hotel rooms was paid twice.
An apology was issued on the spot and it was indicated that the overpayment would be refunded within a week. We are now two weeks on and, despite several emails and phone calls with promises, have not yet seen a euro back.
I find this very bad and have little confidence in the entire Flow organization. At least they won't see us here again.
