A disappointing experience.

For a daily price of € 110 p.p. we expected a room with air conditioning and hot meals at least the level of a diner. An air conditioning was missing (but the duvet had an autumn filling at temperatures of 30 gr and more!) and the meals remained below the minimum level. The quantity of vegetables fell below par despite exstra vegetables for an additional fee.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant!

Setback

Wallpaper was missing from some pieces or was pasted. Night light did not have a power strip, thermostat of the shower did not work, dust clouds when turning on fan.

Work to be done

We were there on 13 and 14 July 2026 as part of a course and wecwaren impressed by the beautiful exterior of this hotel. Nice terrace, nice restaurant, totally top. The rooms are in serious need of renovation. And then I express myself nicely. The room and closet smelled very musty, so we left our clothes in the suitcase. The mattresses were very bad, so after the first broken night we asked if one could change mattresses, as we had already understood that one was renewing the mattresses. In the evening we did have other mattresses (no new ones, but everything was better than what was there) but there was a difference in height, so my husband was a lot higher than me. Anyway, we were already happy with the improvement. It was 30+ degrees and then air conditioning is recommended, and there was not. Fortunately we had a room on the north side, but other colleagues did not sleep because of the heat. In the course room there were two movable air conditioning units, but they made such a noise that we could no longer understand each other. The breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent, and also the terrace is beautiful and quiet, despite being on the street side. Thank you to Brent and Michelle for the good and friendly service! I sincerely hope that this hotel, especially the rooms, will be renovated soon, because this hotel deserves better.

Great stay

Good accommodation in a nice area. Unfortunately, the room was very warm so a fan did not help. In addition, the wifi was very poor in the room and in the public areas. Reception and waiting staff very friendly and serviceable. Pool and breakfast also fine.

Old „style” with the highest price

A necessary renovation is long overdue.
We got a junior suite with a bathroom straight out of the 1970s. But they pice was reflecting a high level suite.
