If coming home

We're there for a few days every year. It's great there. The rooms are simple but neat and clean. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The cuisine is also top class and we don't get bored of the environment where we cycle big tours every day.

Birthday party 65 years! Top afternoon!

I was allowed to celebrate my 65th birthday here on August 23rd with 60 guests. I had chosen a High Tea, with a Cava beforehand. What a top afternoon I had and the Service was fine! Polite and very helpful. I had reserved the Garden Room for this and what fun it was! Nice and cozy furnishings! The High Tea was super well taken care of and all guests were more than enthusiastic. There was also 1 person who has a gluten-free diet, this was fully taken into account. All this was served on a separate platter. How nice that this was kept so well separated. Again, I had a top afternoon and so did my guests! A big 10 for this afternoon!

Nice terrace but the food is bad

The location and terrace are very nice and you sit very cozy. However, the food is quite expensive and was a big disappointment. The meat was dehydrated and had little taste. The fish was apparently steamed and had a limp grey skin. The presentation was spiced up with some colorful flowers, but a bed of poletap and some shriveled pieces of vegetables, did not really invite food. There were some strange flavour combinations in the starter, as if a spoonful of sugar had been added. It was in a glass on a leg and had to be eaten with clumsy large cutlery. The amuse was forgotten. When this one arrived, it turned out to be a small block of watermelon with some sesampi. Served in a rather large glass jar. Then don't do anything! The dessert with a strawberry mousse and a small scoop of ice cream lacked sophistication. Too heavy and too sweet. In short, nice for a drink on the terrace, but we don't go here to eat anymore!
