Definitely recommended

Great place with a beautiful garden around it. There has even been thought of the possibility to have a drink in the evening even though it is a bed and breakfast hotel.
It was quite hot weather during my stay and there was also a fan in the closet, which helped to at least sleep a bit cooler, was not really very cool but certainly doable.

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds

This hotel is lovely. Great location close to the road network and airport but actually peaceful. Set in beautiful gardens.
The rooms are quirky, not much hanging space and there’s no kettle ( these were my only minor gripes) There is a dining room where you can use the coffee machine and help yourself to crockery etc. You can also use this room to eat your own food. We set it up for my birthday tea.
There’s no bar as such but drinks are available from the fridge. You can also take your own drinks in.
Breakfast is lovely but yes the staff can be a little bit miserable.
I’d happily stay here again

Customer unfriendly business manager

I've been there several times now in the restaurant and thought it was a one-off, but after my last visit, something has to be done. We held a high-tea in the stable with a group of 7 people. Location is beautiful, the food is tasty and the wait staff very friendly. However, there is one person there, the manager or even owner who is totally rude and totally does not know what customer friendliness is. Not in the cradle for hospitality. Totally can't handle the crowds in the business, which makes her snap at people. Nothing is possible and find out, is her attitude. Very unfortunate!

Good, fine location for a party

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here.
Location is beautiful!
It was beyond expectations!
It was up and top well taken care of.
Excellent communication also in advance.
Cozy furnished, but also allowed to decorate themselves.
Anything was possible.
Bring your own microphone and music box/speaker.
Food, we had chosen bqq buffet, was exquisite!, very tasty, fresh and extensive.
Cake was delicious too.
Service was great, good atmosphere.
Guests were extremely satisfied.
It's worth repeating.
And we hit it with the weather.
Be able to sit on the terrace.

What a gem on the Pedlar Trail

On our 17th stage of the Marskramerpad we arrived at the Sfeerstal after walking 10km; it lives up to its name: what an atmosphere there is here. A beautiful garden (various sides) where we have been enjoying the homemade soup and all kinds of other dishes.
With full bellies we could walk the last kilometers with ease.
