Fantastic customer service!

We came here as a family to celebrate, renting the whole place. The staff couldn't do enough, and vent over backwards to accommodate all our needs. The place itself has all the facilities you would need and is nice and clean. For babies there is a fridge and microwave accesable 24/7 close to the rooms. Great breakfast, selection of lunch and dinner/drinks. Thanks!

Impoverished chalet was more mobile home

Filed a complaint on the spot via mail, because it was asked how it liked. Obviously, I haven't heard from him or solved anything.
Bad cottage, old very dirty and nothing done outside. Just sat among the weeds. Grass not cut. Nothing done. Third time I came here. Never been in something so impoverished. Is on the site, parking at.het cottage. Was also said at the reception. Well, no way. Just shoved between regulars in a caravan, where no one had been in for a year. And then for that money really ridiculous.

Almost faded glory

In this hotel you are thrown back a bit to the eighties. A musty smelling, bare hallway, a cupboard of senseo coffee, it doesn't make you happy. The room is basic furnished. Nice with a balcony. The bathroom has been renewed. A hair dryer was missing. The breakfast, until 10.00, was good, but was hardly refilled from 9.15. The staff was friendly, but did not come across as very service oriented.

Amazing breakfast

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, the check in is in theory open until 10PM but I was lucky to call at 9PM saying that I was about to arrive and I hear "I'm about to leave I'll put the key in a locket so that you can reach it". What would happen if I didn't call? I arrived at 9:30Pm and it was a sort of a ghost hotel with no information or a living soul. The room is basic but nice and clean, the only problem was that the heating system was off so it took a while to feel confortable.
In the other hand it's really quiet and the breakfast is perfect.

Quiet Except for the Birds

This hotel is definitely off the beaten path. We chose it because it was close to the cities we wanted to visit in the area - Alkmaar, Volendam, Haarlem, Horn and Harlingen.
It is very quiet except for the birds singing as early as 4:30 a.m. because the hotel is located by the woods.
The restaurant offers delicious food at very reasonable prices. I love the appel pannenkoeken!
The rooms are spartan, with the basic shower and toilet and no airconditioning (for the same reason that most Dutch houses do not have airconditioning - they do not get hot summers). Everything is clean.
