Enjoy in Norg

Nice location, the food is always good. Operation is smooth and neat. The view of the beautiful village green with the Norg church makes everything perfect. In short, enjoy with a Drentsche G! The entire region around Norg is ideal for walking, cycling, or just sitting somewhere.

Great family run hotel

Warm welcome by the owner during check-in, spacious rooms and good service for breakfast and at the bar, convenient location for Assen TT events, free parking right in front of the hotel, several restaurants in walking distance

Excellent customer service-nice hotel

I consider this place a hidden gem. We were met at the door by the owner who welcomed us and had even research the area where is come from so that he was able to have a conversation about where we are from. We received a room upgrade which was on the first floor. The room had high ceilings, nice bathroom -all which looks newly renovated. Since there was no air conditioning there was even a fan in the room. He asked about our plans for the next day and said the in the morning he would go over some fun things to do - which he did even showing up on a map.
This is a small town- pleasant people and easy to walk abound after dinner.
Next time we go to the eastern side of the Netherlands, we will definitely stay here. I highly recommend it.

Great hotel!

Hotel Norg is an older hotel which has recently been remodeled, and four hotel rooms have been added. The hotel owners are a young delightful couple who go out of there way to accommodate their guests. I arrived in the morning and was able to check in and go to my room immediately which was awesome because I had flown in from the US that morning. I stayed in a newer room, actually got upgraded for free. My room was on the ground floor. The room was spotless with a lovely large bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. MY room was not facing the street so it was very quiet. Norg is a small town in the North, surrounded by woods and a great place for walking or biking. There are two bike rental places in town, one right a crossed the street so it is very convenient and affordable to rent a bike. The breakfast in the hotel is very good. There is also a restaurant in the hotel but I did not eat there while visiting. I did however have a glass of wine by the fire place in the restaurant which is very charming. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I visit the area.

Village comfort in driving distance to Friesland and Drenthe

Comfortable accommodations in a great small village, away from the big city. Hearty breakfast, with ability to prepare our eggs the way we liked them. Comfortable beds, quiet room at the back of the hotel. Great location for TT and central to many discoveries in both Friesland and Drenthe provinces.
