Cool experience, nice staff, would definitely book again!

The Hotel was really comfortable, the Staff-members were so nice and helpful! It‘s a really cool experience to sleep on a boat, although you don’t notice it that much. Regarding Parking it all worked pretty well as well, the prices are expensive. But a metrostation is about 5 mins walk away.

Big thanks to all the folk who loved this magical floating hotel and posted such great reviews on TripAdvisor.
We took your advice, made a booking and had a wonderful stay.
Our room was immaculate, the food was delicious, the beer prices were very reasonable, the bed was amazing and the sound of water gently lapping in the canal underneath our window was perfect.
The location was absolutely brilliant.
TIP There is a tremendous supermarket just one hundred metres away from the hotel which is filled with all sorts of freshly baked treats. We saved a fortune buying the chocolate treats we always take home there!

Trip to Rotterdam

Booked through Booking.com, an impulsive decision that sometimes happened regularly. Jumped in the car and headed for Rotterdam. On arrival we were welcomed friendly. Only we felt our arrival which was like surprise... Afterwards the receptionist said there was a problem and suddenly there were a lot of bookings. So she had to go and consult.
We got an upgrade instead of a junior room, so we were allowed to drink another room and a glass of cava in the bar to compensate.
Clean room though very fresh with the aircon full bin... were 2 separate mattresses, we pushed a bit closer so no problem.
To put out the light we had to pull out all the sockets, were standing lamps without push button.
We also miss a mini fridge or the like in the room so you can still put some drinks cool on a longer trip.
Otherwise fine experience!

WHEN IN THE NETHERLANDS WHY NOT STAY ON A BOAT!

Given the choice, I’m glad I did. Also, love the punny name!
I had a really good four night stay here. My room, on the lower level, was quiet and comfortable. My porthole was aimed at the canal wall but, when the tide was high, I had a view of the street.
Being a cabin, while spacious, there were a few things to navigate, like the two posts near the window, one of which I ended up head-butting as bent down to pick up something! Ah, the life of a sailor ;)
The room had a work table, TV, free WiFi, kettle with tea & coffee, air-conditioning, block out curtains and wardrobe. It lacked a luggage rack and fridge.
The washroom had a surprisingly large shower with a great water pressure, a wall-attached hairdryer, quality toiletries and lush towels.
The location was excellent with all parts of the city within easy walking distance. It’s only three blocks from the Markthal and the food and groceries therein.
Breakfast is available onsite, however, I chose to eat out. I was taking a night ferry to the UK and they happily stored my bags for the day.
This was fun way to visit Rotterdam for the first time and I would stay again.

Very original accommodation found in the travel guide.
In accordance with the photos
Prefer a room with a window rather than a porthole.
Do not worry, the accommodation does not cause seasickness; you do not feel like you are sleeping on the water.
Very pleasant and smiling staff.
Breakfast with everything needed: sweet, savory ...
Breakfast on the floating terrace was very pleasant.
