DON'T GO THERE. avoid at all costs.
strongly not recommended.
The fact that it's in a good location doesn't even remotely make up for how much everything else sucks. the reception has very inconvenient hours, it closes at 8pm and reopens at 12pm the next day. I slept for 2 nights and even before going to sleep the first night we were thinking about going home. the staff is not available.
1) they took the card associated with the booking off our account twice more, so 3 instead of 1, €36 for taxes. after a day of trying to make him understand we only managed to get one of the two €36 back.
2) my bed was dirty and had blood stains, so I asked to have the sheets, pillowcase and mattress cover changed.
3) the bathrooms were one on each floor and dirty, the sinks clogged. the showers are mixed and equally dirty.
4) everything in this place creaks, from the stairs to the floor but above all the doors, making it impossible not to wake up others even just to go to the bathroom at night.
5) it was not possible to air the room because there was only one small window and the smell in general was really unpleasant.
6) we spoke to a girl, also a hostel guest, who had BED BUGS bites practically all over her body.

STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED
Strongly not recommended. The hostel is very dirty and smells and the rooms also have a strong bad smell. The stairs are very steep and the floor creaks a lot, so every time someone walks, the noise is very loud and annoying and disturbs even if you are in the room. The bedroom doors also make a lot of noise when closing and creak. Dirty beds and sheets, other customers during my overnight stay there told me that they found bed bugs in their bed and the hostel managers did nothing to find a solution to the situation. Very dirty and unlivable bathrooms and showers, on top of that there is only one bathroom on each floor and only one bathroom and shower exclusively for women in the whole hostel. Furthermore, with the booking through Hostelworld I had already paid part of the total (€36 out of €242), but the hostel manager did not deduct it from the payment at the facility and made me pay the total cost of the overnight stay again (therefore €242 €). The next day, another €36 was taken from my bank account by the hostel. After contacting the guy at the reception, who unlike his boss was very helpful, and having discussed it, I managed to get back part of the money deducted without reason, but not the entire sum, ending up paying €72 more than what I should have.

Worst experience
After spending two nights in this hostel I can say that it was the worst experience. We are four female students who want to share our experience to help it not be yours.
All the toilets and showers were unhygienic apart from being not very spacious. The hostel in general has very old and uncomfortable facilities, many stairs, narrow, some broken...
In the room we stayed in (on the top floor), we only arrived to find the sheets dirty, after insisting that they finally change them, the new ones were not much better. The room was old and poorly ventilated.
Not only have there been problems with the facilities but also with the services, after making the corresponding payments, an extra €36 was withdrawn from the bank account from which they had already been withdrawn at the time of the reservation as a deposit, the claim was made and while we were in contact with the hostel to solve it, the same aamout was withdrawned a third time. From reception they tell us that they don't have this €72 extra, that it hasn't arrived in their account, from the movements of the account where the money has been taken we see that it has been taken from the Hostal. Once the check out was done, by contacting one of the workers, we managed to get him to come and show us the movements from the hostel, resulting in the fact that they had two of the three charges of €36, they ended up returning one of the extra payments made , but we are still waiting for what is missing.
We ended up paying a total of €79 per person, for two nights in a hostel that is not worth it, I do not recommend it to anyone.

No Staff Present Overnight.
As a female solo traveller, the main thing that stuck out to me here was the fact that there was no staff present overnight. They began their morning shifts at 8am, meaning if anything happened overnight, well, there was no member of staff to help. It is not a hostel for travellers; theres no common room or anything like you would expect in a hostel. The place was incredibly run down and the corridors unclean. As bad as it sounds, and I do not want to be offensive, i must admit it felt more like a place for those facing homelessness than for those travelling. I didn’t feel at ease there at all. Would highly recommend you find somewhere else to stay, and not to be fooled by the cheap prices.

Ripped us off
They ripped us off. They overcharged my credit card by 37€ and never gave us a refund. We had booked through Hostelworld who told us that we’d pay 82 upon arrival but the hostel just decided to deduct more than that. The reception never picks up. Apparently the place was bought up by Chinese and it is being remodelled. If you would like to stay here I’d recommend to wait at least until August 2022 because when we went there was no reception, no staff to help, nothing. Service is terrible therefore. Cleanliness is mediocre and the place smells terrible. Very dingy. Don’t stay here, stay in a proper hostel instead. Only good thing is location.
