For a while, okay.

We were allowed to check in earlier and that was nice. The reception was okay, but it all seemed rehearsed and there was little enthusiasm. Even the reception staff in the morning was not very enthusiastic; as if the employees didn't want to work in your hotel at all but had to... The room was small (we knew that) The bathroom was okay but there was so much limescale everywhere and it looked dirty in the shower stall that we were glad we had slippers with us. The towels really need replacing, all 4 were old and worn out. The window covering is difficult to move up and down (Velux window type); you have to move the desk and chair and put in a good amount of effort. The beds were lovely!
It is very dark everywhere. Black wallpaper in the room and in the hallways. It is also gloomy in the breakfast room. Breakfast was average; the quark tasted like stop paint, not regular yogurt, the fruit was empty for a long time. No tea/jam replenished and the tables remained dirty long after the guests left. What delicious bread and croissants.
For one night the hotel was okay, but we won't be coming back; we'd rather pay a bit more.

Tourist tax and administrative costs charged twice.

When checking out, I still had to pay the outstanding bill for drinks used. I asked for an invoice, which could only be emailed. Upon returning home, I checked the invoice and to my surprise, the tourist tax and administrative fees were charged again, even though I had already paid these fees upon check-in!
This is what I got as an answer when I confronted Fletcher Uden with this:
Thank you for your email.
I just looked up your reservation and see that you stayed with us for a total of 2 nights.
From May 10 to 11 and from May 11 to 12.
That's why the tourist tax and administrative costs are on the invoice twice.
Tourist tax and administrative costs are €3 per person per night.
Hoping to have informed you sufficiently.
So it turns out that this is the normal procedure that these costs are charged twice!

Never again, unless they vastly improve

The front desk staff were curt, the one lift is weird, the rooms are tattered. The restaurant is nice, though.
The bed was comfortable enough and had power others on each side--perfect for two people to charge devices at bedside. There was a mini fridge and coffeemaker.
The bathroom was fairly well lit but the toilet area was dark. There was a tub and a separate shower. The shower water pressure was excellent! Unfortunately, there were no towel hooks ANYWHERE, not even a place to hang the hand towel. Looked like something had been torn/broken off the wall near the sink; strange to not fix it. The shower soap dispenser had been torn/broken off the wall & was sitting loosely on the small shelf for shampoo. The door that slides to close off the toilet or the shower was off the track, which was broken. Seems this hotel doesn't care enough about their guests to fix such inadequacies.
The WiFi was horribly slow and not password protected (boo!). The free parking was nice. Regardless of the few good aspects of this hotel, if I'm ever in the area again I'll surely look elsewhere.
