Wander Hotel is clean and comfortable

A good quality hotel, clean, polite staff, comfortable beds. Breakfast is very good. Location depends on where you want to go. It's not in a convenient spot for visiting places in the north west. Staff were helpful.

Disappointing.

Very nice hotel in a lovely town. Staff very friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and functional. However we were disappointed with the breakfast. Seems our coach group were overlooked in favour of another group who were in another room ie the toaster had been removed for them (maybe get more than one toaster?) The restaurant was closed for us, but not for them? This treatment was quite disappointing.

Poor food service

While the rooms are adequate and maintained the food service was the worst I have ever experienced. My simple order of a hamburger took just short of an hour to arrive. Several attempts to question the staff to include management were not successful. As there was other place to eat close by I just sat there. They didn't seem concerned and I had to pay for meal.

Very expensive for what it is. They seem to be charging more even though there are ugly and noisy renovations going on. The staff are friendly but the customer doesn’t seem to come first in areas like the bar shutting when there are people in it, and areas of the hotel being left very messy during refurbishment.

Courteous staff, comfortable room in a great location. Guest laundry service was handy as well. Some construction going on at WICC, but well signed and no noise issues or other inconvenience.
