Old school has decorated the kaners as school rooms complete with books and school bag on the wall. Very nice.

Super nice decorated hotel with digital key on your phone. Near the center where you will find several restaurants.

Very nice concept

We absolutely loved this place. Everything works mobile, the main entrance of the hotel and also the room door.
The rooms have all themes and are designed accordingly. We stayed in "History".There was a very large room waiting for us. Very lovingly designed.
Breakfast was also very good. Various types of tea, fruit salad, fresh rolls, eggs,etc. Breakfast is served in the former gymnasium. Here too, the concept of the hotel is implemented very nicely.
The location is perfect and parking is also available.

Beautiful hotel with a handicap

Beautiful listed building, stylishly furnished rooms and great breakfast. The old HBS of Winterswijk has received a fine metamorphosis while retaining its original character.
Unfortunately we missed the hospitality because of the completely digitally rigged organization.

Spacious rooms, with some points of interest.

Booked a room for third year due to local Folk Festival. And nice in the building where my husband went to school. Because we want to try a different room every time, this time not paying attention, the sleeping space was upstairs. This is not helpful if you have been drinking alcohol. Moreover, the staircase in room "Drama" was painted very dark, so that in the already dark room, it was difficult to see where the steps were. Put some fake candles on steps for visibility. And tried to move a lamp, for a better view. Tip: LED lighting with a sensor along stairs or steps. I also lacked a mirror with good lighting to make me up. But otherwise a fine hotel, close to center, for our purpose is therefore very suitable. Breakfast is very fine, delicious sandwiches in stylish dining room. Already booked for next year.

Nice spacious rooms

Nice hotel for a weekend away. Rooms are clean, large, functional and homely furnished and have wonderful beds. However, don't expect a warm, cozy family hotel. By chance there was a receptionist present who explained a few things to us, but after this introduction she soon left and we didn't see anyone again. Everything is done digitally via your mobile, from checking in to checking out and opening the door of your hotel room. It all worked perfectly. If you value personal contact more, this hotel is not really what you are looking for. They do have a nice collaboration with a restaurant in the area, Lev by Mike. We had booked a package and had a delicious meal here and a pleasant evening.
