Fast service for lunch.

Stopped here for a quick lunch on a Sunday. Fast service, adequate number of staff looking very presentable in their uniforms and seem to know what they are doing. I had dinner here before and it was good too. I would repeat.

Excellent really!

We were a group from Belgium, and we had an excellent experience - the food was very good (my favorite lightly salted salmon, many different salads and a large selection of everything (buffet - breakfast, dinner), the rooms are large, comfortable, Wi-Fi was fast, the staff very friendly. Just perfect stay of 3 days we had.

Very disappointing

Asking at half past ten if you can order a sandwich, getting the answer that you can't because the lunch menu isn't available until 11. Having to wait half an hour for a sandwich (with any filling, a simple slice of cheese would have been enough!) while they are cleaning up the breakfast buffet in front of you, makes this visit to Van der Valk Wolvega a very disappointing experience for me. We quickly settled our coffee. Later, at the reception, the employee admitted that this should not be the intention. I think so too @vandervalk !

Aging and expensive for what it is

An aging hotel at a premium price.
Barely any equipments in the room : bottle of water or porcelain cups for coffee only cardboard:-(
Only twin beds available which are really a bother for a young couple
Otherwise the food is good and the general layout comfortable.
The terrasse is a nice place to have a drink

Gewoon van der Valk

Had lunch here together. Both dishes quickly arrived on the table.
Was well cared for and tasty.
Operation correct, no more than that.
