A small, lovely hotel right in the action.

Unique location right in the middle of the action between the market and pubs. The parking garage is right outside the door, where the small, typically Dutch hotel is located. A small hotel with simple rooms, but a coffee machine, water, and earplugs as amenities. We slept well, and the bathroom works. It is just right for a weekend trip

Good hotel at excellent location

The hotel has an excellent location in the city center, easy access with app instead of key, good and clean room, comfortable beds, free coffee and tea, good shower.
There is no reception (communication via messages) and the wifi not secure.

Not relaxing

Three rooms booked in for 160€ breakfast including . A faulty English confirmation and a contact / telephone number somewhere in America , just assuming it would be okay.
At check-in everything turned out to be wrong and we should have received a digital key by mail but that was also not possible
After a lot of fives and sixes anyway...
Very small (bath) rooms for 3 x 160 euros and , unfortunately without breakfast...
What a bad price/quality
The next morning we were woken by the fire alarm and , because the truly deafening alarm kept going and no one came to look, we fled outside without showering / blow-drying
No idea what was going on but a lot of guests were outside, some left immediately. A group of young men who had fled in the shower were also waiting, dazed, outside
After some time a lady arrives and immediately addressed us very grumpy and accusatory, asking which of us had pressed the alarm ... (??)
I replied that none of us had done so, but that we had left our rooms in a hurry ...
The response of the lady was “Yes and I was called out of bed for this”
Perhaps Madam can think that there is a difference between guests who had expected a quiet awakening at a high price and wanted to shower etc and that someone , like her, who is paged because it is her WORK ... (?)
I did tell the lady in question that I thought it was a very special reaction, to which she asked if we wanted coffee but we didn't feel like it anymore... ! Get out!
So breakfast would be reserved at the Eendracht, a lovely restaurant, beautifully located and deliciously eaten , but we just had to pay.. nothing included...
Misleading! But compliments to restaurant de Eendracht!

Great room in perfect location

Small but comfortable clean room with fine bed and bath/shower
The location is great in the middle of the market, when you wake up on a Saturday you literally step into the greengrocer's stall when you go out the door

Simple but excellent hotel in a prime location

We slept here for 2 nights in a small room on the top floor (without a lift and with a fairly steep staircase). Everything we needed was there. The shower is not large, but it has a strong jet. The beds were fine. We weren't much bothered by noise, we didn't use the earplugs. No complaints about cleaning or clean towels. That was all fine.
Checking in was a bit tricky because the PIN access code didn't work. Fortunately, a restaurant staff member opened the door for us and someone was there to provide us with access passes.
There was plenty of choice at breakfast. Unfortunately no fried eggs with bacon or scrambled eggs, but you can cook your own eggs.
The big plus is of course the location in the heart of the city center, with many terraces and restaurants within walking distance.
