Great place. Very central, friendly, helpful, well maintained, ... Perfect for solo travelers and backpackers. Can only recommend.

Good place to stay. Cheap and close to town. The manager is also very helpful with employment and things to do in the area.

UNCLEAN,UNSAFE, A DUMP.

Monique was an absolute " Man hater,with a terrible aggressive attitude.She should not be the face of this buisness!. Building is in terrible condition. Not compliant!! NO FIRST AID KIT ANYWHERE. long term drunks inhabiting the place. NOT SAFE FOR FEMALES," GO ELSEWHERE.

Let’s hope tripadvisor takes this down
We as a business must be compliance and safe to operate. We have monthly checks by a professionally trained compliance’s officer and first Aid kits are readily available if asked for.
Ladies it’s totally safe to stay here at Jacks…this person was actually asked to leave because of his behaviour. Jacks is a friendly welcoming hostel and has been for years

Best hostel ever !!!

I've stayed in this hostel for little over a month and I absolutely loved it ! The manager is so nice and welcoming and she truly made me feel like home. The hostel itself is very cozy, tidy and well located, there are plenty of equipment you can use and fireplace keeps it nicely warm during winter. Can only highly recommend! :)

Not an hostel but a family!!!

Me and my boyfriend are a couple of backpackers and nothing was better than arrive in Blenheim and find a place to stay in Jack's. We pitched our tent and started to live in this awesome "community". We love it!!!
