Great service at the restaurant, friendly staff. Room was dated but clean and warm once we got the oil heater on. Bathroom was clean and we were lucky that as the only guests we didn’t have to share it!

Great place to stay for a stopover more a hostel vibe. Shared amenities and kitchen. But tidy and clean.

Enjoyable stay, good to have the kitchen living area to relax and have a cuppa in. Bed comfortable and rooms warm.

The bathroom door got stuck and couldn’t close properly. Even after looking it over myself I couldn’t solve it. There was understandably no one there to report this too since it was pretty early in the morning, and couldn’t tell anyone at check out, but wanted to let them know before it gets to their busy season occurs.

A quirky-but-good place!
Old, but beautifully (& recently?) renovated.
Kitchen was mostly well equipped (air frier, but no frying pan). Lots of fridge & freezer space. Clean, too!
Ask for a room NOT over the bar if you want to sleep early - but it was dead quiet after 11, so no problem for us.
Water bottles provided in the room. Thanks!
Only 1 sink on our floor (apart from the kitchen). But, no mirror there. Only 1 mirror - but not at a sink. A bit strange ... !
Know what you're getting, but if you don't mind a few quirks, I recommend it.
