Sinclair Guesthouse Abuja

Sinclair was our first experience at a guesthouse & what a beautiful experience it was. It was very, clean & cozy with all modern amenities but above all their staff were most friendly & accommodating. We want to extend a special recognition to their front desk staff Kachi who was very professional & customer oriented consistent with American standard. We’ll certainly stay at Sinclair again.

Barely livable

No just no ! The room was damp and smelly, no views , a roach greeted me . Crummy carpet in the room and if the AC isn’t on you’ll hear sounds outside . I have no idea why it’s an expat favourite. The only light is the restaurant . You’ll always get good food there.

One of the great restaurants (and I’d say guest houses) in Maitama. The decor gives you the feeling that you are in a restaurant in any of the urban European cities. The staff are super friendly and help with the menu which is fairly priced. The food was good though could be better. Wife had a Caesar salad while I had burger and fries and 2 glasses of Long Island. They have in-house live band on saturdays and I hope to be there to see what it’s like. The only downside is the lack of adequate parking space.

Vacation

Highly recommended. Had a great time. Private, cosy ambience , clean and very comfortable rooms . The staff were amazingly hospitable. The food in Cantina was delicious ; affordable. Stayed for two nights and three days. Had the opportunity to enjoy the variety of satisfying meals on the menu which included mexican and italian cuisines. Would most definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Okay

This was my second stay at Sinclair but I unfortunately did not find it as impressive as my first time. The common areas still looked great but my room was surely not as impressive. First the towels need to go. Old and miscoloured. The bathroom I think needs to be refurbished. Breakfast was good and the service at the front desk was consistently very good.
