Cheap hostel
I needed a hostel for my overnight stay in Ohrid and this is one of the recommendations.
The hostel is cheap but you can recognize why when you stayed here. I believe the hostel is nice and cozy before but it is not well maintained and not so clean. The kitchen is quite small and they only have 2 toilet and bath.
Well the staff is nice and helpful and location is also good.

Very good hostel in Mesokastro
The staff very nice and the hostel itself is very good, many common spaces including a beautiful small garden and many large terraces. The position is superlative and the price is extremely competitive. Generally a very good mood.
In our room there were 4 lockers for 6 beds, it was not a problem for us (two couples shared), but it might be in general. The hostel can accomodate a lot of people, if it is full it's common to find the toilet not particularly clean and the toilet paper missing. Also the kitchen is quite small if it has to be used by everyone

Great hostel to meet people
This hostel is perfect for solo travellers! The owner, Gyoko, is very welcoming and will do anything to make your stay as good as can be. The main lobby is like a living room where you will always be able to meet other travellers and have a great time. If you are bored of sightseeing in Ohrid, you can always enjoy your time in the hostel with Gyoko and the other travellers

The perfect stay in Ohrid!
I was there last week, travelling alone. The place was a superb recommendation of a friend :)
The place has nice shared areas: kitchen, dinning room and terrace. The kitchen has everything that you need (including salt, oil, tea, etc.), and the dinning room has games and a huge TV. But the best thing of my stay was the owner, Djoko, that was very helpful with all my questions and also very friendly (we had interesting conversations).
If I'm coming back to Ohrid, I wouldn't hesitate: I'll go back to this hostel! So my recommendation is that you do the same :)
