Perfect campsite with tent

Nice camping, 200m to fjord fishing. Nice staff, good toilets and showers. Walking distance to store.

Positive experience

Despite poor reviews earlier, we were very surprised. We don't quite understand what the others had expected , our cabin was completely clean . The showers were clean and were washed several times a day but understand that there can be some challenges with wrong falls in some showers. Could wish for some cutlery and glass in the cabin. Good access to the bus to the center. Instead of paying NOK 2500 per night for a hotel room in the city, this is a very good option.

Disappointing!

No map of the area, NO playground, poor service, poor sanitary building, no possibility of booking, not allowed with markise / tent either.

We didn’t expect much at first, but this place turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The room we rented for two was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with an induction stove, water heater, and refrigerator. The bathroom looks fully renovated and feels fresh and modern. It’s also conveniently close to the sentrum, which made getting around very easy. Overall, a great stay and definitely worth recommending.

Poor service

We knew we would arrive at the campsite after reception closing hours, and therefore tried to call to report our arrival. It turned out to be difficult to get an answer, so we drove directly to the campsite. Well ahead we were so disappointed by such unusual poor service, that we left our way. In the reception there was a man who didn’t even want to look up and look at us where we were outside. After knocking on the window, we were dismissed with various hand movements, there was no verbal communication, because the lock itself he would not open. We did not know where to park or pay, nor would we leave our money on a, from our point of view, so little inviting campsite!
