Lovely accommodation, food and ski

Fantastic nice family hotel.

Disappointing pizza experience

Ordered 3 large pizzas (different types) as takeaway.
Worse pizza you'll be looking for long!!!!!!
Buy bottom and fill that did not taste anything!
They were too!! 330-340 kr per piece
We were 8 pieces to eat, and none of us liked any of them! Most went to the trash!
The dressing was good!

A good experience

Visited to eat at the restaurant at the Austbø Hotel. It was nice service, very good service and good food. A nice experience from start to finish!

Hotel with a surprisingly good kitchen in the Norwegian mountains

The hotel is basic, but in addition to being the only real alternative in the vincinity, it has an excellent kitchen.
The friendly staff is always welcoming and has made sure our stays are as comfortable as possible.
If you’re cold it has a sauna, and there is terrain for walks around.
Have been here several times and would come back if only for the food.

Unfortunately can not recommend the place...

Trist dining/restaurant. Sad living room. Rude receptionist. Indeed, he was stressed - maybe because he covered both serving in the restaurant + reception, but did not let the stress go out over the guest. Dinner was like this in the middle of the tree. Breakfast was good. And the view from the room was good.
