Really helpful staff, thank you

Thank you to the fabulous young male receptionist who helped me.
I needed an emergency optical appointment, when I explained he went out of his way to help, finding me a clinic, booking a taxi and making sure I got there. He couldn’t have been more helpful. He’d only been there less than a week, was so helpful and didn’t flap or get stressed about the small queue building up behind me while his colleague was out. Thank you
OK the rooms are small, the catering OK but I couldn’t fault the service on that occasion when it really mattered. So the five star is for service, not the rooms!

High potential but some basic things are missing

Villa Terminus was a nice cozy place to stay. It was a bit noisy outside with open window but no immediate ventilation methods, so it can be challenging on hot summer days. The room was nice but did not seem especially well kept or cleaned. The general cleaning was fine, but black stains in the wooden floor and huge amounts of dust on the outer windows (2 layers of windows) drew a lot down in the cleaning assessment. It is not cheap to stay at Villa Terminus and therefore it may be a wonder that such basic things are not met. It has great potential and had a less formal feeling than ordinary hotel, which was clearly positive when staying in the villa.

The room was clean, although the cleaning products left a musty smell. The room was small but perfectly ok for an overnight stay. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Great hotel, amazing breakfast and laundry facilities. Close to train but a little bit of a walk to wharf.

Historic hotel

Old-style for this hotel in Bergen, about 10 minutes from the central area with restaurants, fish market.
A few more steps and you can walk in old Bryggen, or take the little train for the view from the top
