Great hotel with good facilities.
There was a big event on in the evening in the hotel but despite all of the people filling the hotel we had no problems getting food and drinks.
Parking is 100 yards away and reasonable for a nights stay in a city.

Ok probably a poor three star
Being away on busies always surprises you and this was no exception, don’t be fooled, this hotel needs updating.
Staff were on strike during my stay so restaurant was not open all the time, breakfast egg station wasn’t open, rooms and beds weren’t getting made( even for checking in), so check before you book.
Rooms are basic
No kettle to make a coffee or t
No wardrobe
Bed had a half quilt, this would be a problem if there were two of you.
Very basic
Breakfast had a good selection and staff were friendly

Thank you for taking the time to write an honest review of your recent business stay with us. We are very happy to read that you enjoyed the breakfast selection and found our staff to be friendly. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences caused by the hotel strike during your visit. It unfortunately had a some impact on our daily operations. However, we would like to gently clarify the restaurant situation: both René and our 77 in the next building are open and operating. It is only our seafood restaurant, Naustet, that is currently closed. You also mentioned the bedding and having a "half quilt". To clarify, this is one of our environmental initiatives. To reduce unnecessary washing and energy consumption, we prepare the beds strictly according to the number of guests registered for the room. Since the room was booked for one person, it was prepared with one single duvet. Of course, our reception is always happy to provide extra bedding upon request. Finally, we completely understand your comments about the room being basic and feeling like a step back to the 70s. You are absolutely right that parts of our hotel are of an older date. The good news is that we are currently in the middle of a major renovation project this year, so the hotel is actively getting the update it needs. We appreciate your patience during the strike, and we hope to welcome you back to a modernized and normally operating hotel in the future

All right.
The rooms are neat size and clean, but worn, and there is poor climate control and no heat in the bathroom.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Since you have been a valued guest with us many times before, we are truly sorry to hear that this recent stay did not meet your expectations.
It is particularly unfortunate to read your review, as it stands in contrast to the positive feedback we have received from other attendees within your group. We are genuinely saddened that your personal experience differed from the overall consensus.
We were also quite surprised by your comments regarding our reception team. The colleagues on duty are experienced professionals who generally receive excellent feedback for their guest service. Nevertheless, we take your perception seriously and apologize if you felt that the welcome you received lacked its usual warmth on this occasion.
We completely acknowledge your frustration regarding the IT equipment in the seminar room; the delay in resolving this issue was indeed too long, and we sincerely apologize for that. Regarding the dinner, we are sorry to hear that the dishes did not suit your preferences this time.
We are glad to read that you enjoyed the breakfast, as well as the comfort and cleanliness of your room. We appreciate your past loyalty and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better overall experience in the future
