Superb hotel, great location
This hotel exceeded all our expectations. To the welcoming and friendly staff on our arrival (we were able to put our cases in storage) and the hotel overall was brilliant. A spotlessly clean hotel with lifts to all floors (you had to scan your door fob to use the lift for security). We were on one of the top floors, 12. What a lovely room, an open shower with heated floor. Super comfy bed and pillows, slept like a log! Superb view from the hotel windows. All the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing, everything you could wish for, and more! So fresh and a good section for gluten free too.
The location of the hotel was next to the main transport, we used the light rail system, clean, efficient and on time! Thank you all for making our first visit to Norway an incredible one! I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

First: The breakfast was very good. As for the room, was alright. The queen bed was two twins pushed together with a gap between. The shower water pressure was absolutely amazing and my wife loved the tub. Overall, for the money, this was a very good hotel and the staff was great.

Overall good vibe and experience. The rooms are small but ours was on 12 with a gorgeous view or Bergen. Breakfast was excellent 1 one of the most delicious scrambled eggs, omelette and fresh breads. Fruit and salads were fresh, coffee was excellent.

Good location close to bus and light rail (to connect to airport) and close to downtown. Room felt clean and appropriately compact for a short stay. Included breakfast was excellent! Good value compared to other hotels in the area.

Very convenient location and overall very good standards
This city centre hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the city on foot with lots of things very close at hand, including the train and bus station for travels out of the city. Initially we thought this location might be noisy but despite being surrounded by roads we found our room very quiet. We were fortunate in being allocated a large twin room with a double aspect - the large windows letting in lots of light (though the carpark view wasn’t great!). Being there in the summer meant very light nights and better curtains would have been useful - also being on pull cords would have made them much easier to operate as they were floor-ceiling windows taking up 2 sides of the room.
The decor was modern, clean and sleek, however there was very little storage. For a modern hotel we were very surprised at the very poor provision of electric sockets (even the kettle had to be plugged in on the floor!) and no USB’s which made device charging very complicated, however the wifi was very good. The public areas were beautifully kept and it felt like a very up-market hotel, though the lack of stairs was frustrating when one only wanted to go up/down a single flight. The roof top terrace was a nice touch, though it could have been better furnished. The breakfasts were excellent with a very good selection of food and being well spread out over a number of counters avoided the congestion that sometimes occurs with many guests serving themselves at once. We had two evening buffets and whilst the quality of the food was very good, the food was very similar on both occasions (different meat and fish but identical salad/veg, etc) so we wouldn’t have wanted to have any more evening meals there! Overall we would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and overall high standards.
