Bob Gamble - exceeded expectations . Perfect location, spacious airy & wonderful

Bob Gamle Apartments in Oslo was an absolute gem and exceeded all expectations. The apartment was beautifully designed – modern, airy, and immaculately clean – with everything thoughtfully provided for a comfortable stay. The space felt calm and welcoming, making it easy to relax after a day exploring the city.
The location is excellent, with great transport links nearby and easy access to Oslo’s attractions, while still feeling peaceful and residential. Check-in was seamless and communication was clear and helpful throughout.
Attention to detail really sets this place apart – from the high-quality furnishings to the spotless condition of the apartment. It felt more like a home than a rental. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend Bob Gamle Apartments to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable base in Oslo.

The place was spacious as we had the two bedrooms. The apartment had natural cooling, which was ok as it wasn’t as hot while we were there and cooled pretty good with the windows opened. The kitchen was okay stocked, but didn’t have a few essentials like oven mitts and dish towel or cloth. Place was equipped with soaps and a few pods for dishwasher and one for washing machine. It does take some time to dry, but we hung some clothes up and they dried overnight. We were able to access key cards into building and room okay. It did take some time to hear back on the luggage room code, the messenging system seems automated, but we finally got through. There was bad reception in the basement as well. Overall a good stay. Location was close to grocery store and a relatively short 10 minutes walk from the train station. Some music at night, but wasn’t bad on weekdays. Sundays are quiet. The view was nice and so is the roof top patio.

Nice, lively area of Oslo close to the Opera with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was nice and communication, although mostly AI-based, was efficient. The apartment was very hot and the pillows very large/high. Other than that, great value accomodation!

Poor Customer Service, Poor Maintenance

First, I made this booking about 8 months in advance. I had read tons of reviews and chose this location because they have an elevator and I was traveling with family that included my mom who has bad knees and a bad leg. In reviews I read I saw some 2 bedroom apartments in the building have an entire flight of stairs separating the bathroom and kitchen from the bedrooms. I specifically requested NOT that apartment. I messaged them about 3 days before arriving and restated that request- no problem. We were delayed an entire day because of flights which I communicated with them only to receive an email saying they were cancelling our reservation because we missed check in if we did not contact them right away (we still had to be rebooked for a missed flight). What did we arrive to? The apartment with a huge flight of stairs (not just a normal amount). We had to sit and wait in the hot apartment. Luckily, they were able to move is. Great. It was a historic heat wave and the new apartment had fans...some were broken. Great. Then during our stay the freezer door broke and you could only open it a third of the way, trapping everything inside. I would never stay at one of their properties again.
