Comfort and clean hotel close to Oslo's main points of interest

As a returning guest at K7 hotel, I appreciate how clean and comfortable it is and the staff's professionalism and politeness. The room has a nice view and the shared spaces are equally aesthetically pleasant. Another advantage of staying here is how close you are to places of cultural interest. It is definitely worth staying here.

It is not worth it your money

Since the window do not open, there’s no air circulation in the dorm, making it feel stuffy and claustrophobic. Cleanliness in the dorms also leaves something to be desired, with dust in the bed’s storage compartment for personal items. I did my laundry, and both the washing machine and dryer were dirty, so my clothes came out smelling really bad. The hostel doesn’t have a lively atmosphere, and in the end, the money I saved wasn’t worth it.

More a hostel than a hotel

Review
Much more of a hostel with dorms than a hotel with rooms. Very basic service, no daily housekeeping or regular towel and linen changes. The room was also more basic than described when booking. No real hotel atmosphere, no design, no amenities, just a very basic accommodation. The room faces the street, although fortunately it is not a particularly busy one. The location is good, but the prices are completely unreasonable for this level of accommodation, service and lack of hotel amenities. €622 for three nights is simply absurd.

The kitchen was not clean, and the beds are very noisy.

The location is very good, but I didn’t like the kitchen, It had a very unpleasant smell and wasn’t clean. I stayed in a four-bed dorm, and every time the girl sleeping in the bunk above me moved, it made a lot of noise, which made it very difficult to sleep, even though I was wearing earplugs.

Excellent property, great value for money, centrally located in a beautiful historical building and very well maintained. On the checkout day, the key stops working at 11am sharp and the elevator gets very busy.
