This hotel was in a great central location (we arrived by train). There is a fee if you arrive early and want to check in early. If you arrive early and don't want to check in early, there's an option to store luggage in a storage room. The room itself was a bit on the small side (we had 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons), but it was well maintained. I would stay here again!

Scandic olso city to avoid

Very small room / bathroom for kids not for adult due to size.
The hôtel is located near by a tacos restaurant so if you are in the second floor facing the city, you will hear lound music all day long. I will never come back to this hôtel in Oslo.

Well-managed hotel in an excellent location in Oslo

As 28 friends from Turin, Italy, during a tour of Norway, we stayed 3 nights in Oslo at the hotel. Excellent location so you can reach the city center easily. The rooms are not very big but clean, as are the common areas. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of both sweet and savory. The dinner was decent and the staff courteous, as well as the possibility of having water available for free, both still and sparkling. Excellent experience

Right Spot --- but Hot in June!!

Great location --- only steps to train station with easy access to the airport. Walking distance to most attractions in Oslo. Excellent breakfast.
CAUTION!! Depending on time of year, there is NO AC and rooms are hot and stuffy in summer months. Also, no frig in room and ice is only available from hotel bar.

Large brown stain on the sheet and cigarette marks

The room was larger than I expected and well occupied. However, there was a large brown stain on the bottom of the bed sheet and cigarette marks (?) on the towel in the bathroom. Not fresh!
