It’s very nice camping with big territory, cool play zone for kids in green area of the city. Common places were clean and with hot water in the shower. Recommend

It was a nice place in general, very clean shower and toilets. Very good play area for kids, the whole area was well maintained.
They lack common fridge and freezers. The working kitchen was very small and in the middle of toilets in house 2. The rooms were very warm, even when we opened the windows and doors, you also invite mosquitos. On hot days bring your own fans and mosquito repellent.

Unsuitable for tent campers

This campsite is absolutely unsuitable for tent campers. The tent pitches are far from the 'servicehus' which also does not offer what it promises: very basic kitchen with hob unsuitable for lightweight aluminium pans, no fridge, no dining area, only 1 sink to wash dishes and very cramped. To get there we had to climb an unmown goat path on a steep telud, or detour far on a steeply sloping asphalt path. The check-in also went lousy. If you had that done at the reception, it cost 200 NOK extra, with the car but it was cheaper, but then it turned out there was no PIN code. And all for the grand prize of more than 700 NOK per night for a tent spot without power, which you couldn't even figure out yourself. For campers and glampers with private facilities perhaps a best place. For people with a tent absolutely inadvisable.

The address is accessible, but the parking of the hotel was full when we arrived.

The cabin was modern and nice, easy access to parking and kiwi was 5 seconds to our cabin. Bus station nearby and close to Tryvann so it was a great stay
