Better than last time.

You don't have much choice in the area and last time the hotel was disappointing so it was a bit with a scared heart that we had booked here. But this time it was not so bad.
Nice room comfortable, with a small but also comfortable bathroom with a good shower. No more carpet in the room but laminate. Nice and warm in the room because outside it was chilly. Friendly young lady at reception. We slept at the back (front is against the E6), and at night it was very quiet. Good beds and good sleep. Dinner is available on site, plenty of choice and tasty spare ribs or reindeer. Too bad nobody explained the procedure in advance because you have to order first at the checkout because nobody comes to take an order. Anyway, that's local custom. Breakfast sober, just as well.

A nice visit

Not the most modern hotel. Both breakfast and dinner (which you could buy yourself in the evening.) We ate there two nights and had nothing to say about the food. Clean and beautiful throughout the hotel. Nice service. Free and good with parking right outside. Got well with handcuffs and anything one expects to be in the bathroom to one every time. Good beds. Some might think it’s noisy to have rooms on the road but what can you expect when the hotel is located right on E6. There is heavy transport around the clock, so we counted on it and therefore it did not bother us.

Nice hotel, quite close to several ferris to Lofoten

We like the location of the hotel, and have stayed here several times. It is situatet near a traffic intersection, but we have never been disturbed by much traffic noise at night. If you have a room in the front of the hotel, you get a great view. The room was nice and clean with good beds. We have had dinner inn the hotel restaurant several times, and the food is good, not 5 star, but for us at leas 3-4. The staff i helpfull and polite. The breakfast is standard, we missed eggs and bacon, but the rest were OK. The Hamsun senter, dedicatet to the author Knut Hamsund, is not far from here.

Stay over while travelling along E6, southbound.

stayed here with my whole family for a night, while travelling along the E6 road.
Since we are a family of 5, plus a dog, we requested a family room. They got a room for 4, but where able to squeeze in one more for us, if we where able to sleep 3 together in a queen size bed. (our youngest was small enough to fit) The price wasn't to high either, compared to have two rooms. We arrived early in the evening, and was greeted by the friendly staff. The check-inn went smooth, and we was soon placed in the resturant eating dinner. The menu was nice, and the portions was of a good size.
The area around the hotel was nice. rally close to the road, but we didn't experience any noise from the traffic. Close by the hotel is the shoreline. A nice area to make walk in the evening.
The breakfast the morning after (it starts serving from 0600) was nice. nice and fresh. Very suitable for a big family.
Overall a very pleasant stay at the Hamarøy Hotel.

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

One of the few hotels nearby, but very nice and with very helpful and friendly staff. As often up north in Norway one feel welcome, also here.
The dinner at the connected restaurant was very good. I hade cod, with bacon etc. Breakfast also with varaiety and good.
