Time for refurbishment

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The room smells bad, we had to ventilate to be able to be there. The room was large and open. Unfortunately no sound insulation in walls and windows. We heard the neighbor sneeze. In addition, there is a first floor hostel that plays loud music until 2:30 p.m.
The fire alarm went off at night, but no alarm inside the room. So we heard it badly.
There was a large fridge there, but it didn't work. Sockets in the wall were loose. The room was clearly marked by the need for renovation.
Breakfast on weekends closes early and the eggier was clearly had to lie out for a long time.
The elevator we didn't dare take. It shake and shake badly.
We only met one employee during our stay, it was during lunch, but did not look at us once. Sitting and staring at the phone.
The bed was totally ok, it was clean, but the closure in the middle.

Ok Hotel

Ok hotel. Good breakfast, some soft beds. Nice space for suitcase in the room, good loysing. Free parking and central. Be disturbed by music from the cafe in the corner. Start at 23:00 and run for several hours.

There is one word: Terrible

Who does offer guests a curtain at the shower? This is discusting. Very small room. Feels like a prison.
Breakfast below average, indeed.
On total, for the price, very bad.
As there are no alternatives I feel like forced to stay at this place.

Ok - hotel

Accommodation on weekdays in past shared with work trip. Character of the hotel is old. Ok room. But really listen. A lot of sound and noise throughout the afternoon and evening. A lot of party noise one night. Without it seeming as if there was done anything to try to mitigate this. The other night there was loud music. Got room out towards the main road where there was a lot of traffic noise. This starts early in the morning. Totally ok breakfast.

Average hotel experience

Stayed one night in this centrally located hotel in Sunndalsoera. Parking is free and easy available just opposite the hotel entrance. Kind staff. Hotel room was very ordinary, just a place to sleep. Need some renovation soon, boring interior. We had a room towards downtown, spectacular view towards the mountains, but some noise from the street down under. Breakfast was not plentiful, but delicate presented in a old style room with a nice view outside. A bit expensive - NOK 1280 breakfast included - so room standard was expected better to give it a better rating.
