Unbeatable location and friendly staff.

Location is unbeatable. Easy walking to all boat tours, ferries and central Svolvaer.
Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. Tastefully decorated, and quiet bedrooms. Comfortable beds.
Bathroom could be improved by a plug in the sink to avoid wasting water, and a small shelf in the shower cubicle.

Stunning Views

We stayed in a King Best View room, so you have a balcony and beautiful sea view. Definitely recommend paying extra for these rooms! I joined the Scandic rewards to book direct so it was a bit cheaper. We just loved sitting on the cosy balcony watching the boats, jellies (the water is so clear) and the golden glow on the mountains as the sun sets.
Yes the room is small, as is common in this part of the world, but it’s clean with a modern bathroom, good shower, and we found the bed comfortable. And personally, we liked that you can opt out of daily room service. We were only there two nights.
The breakfast buffet was great with lots of choice and sea views all around.
I didn’t notice any other food being served, but a cold beer on the outdoor terrace was nice on a sunny day!
Being able to just walk over the short bridge to the main harbour for the sea eagle safari was a definite plus for us, and also, it’s a lovely walk over the longer bridge to explore neighbouring, Svinoya.
Staff were professional, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area.

A hotel at the harbor in Svolvär

Excellent location by the sea, nice view to the harbour. The room we visited was quite old with some technical issues like a broken shower pipeline. Good breakfast.

Small terrace overlooking the sea

Spectacular breakfast, bathroom could be improved. Room with a small terrace overlooking the sea…room could be improved but still Lofoten style…
