Absolutely amazing

This holiday was initially booked for March 2020 but due to covid it was postponed for 2 years. The staff kept in contact with me the whole time and I added extra nights. They were so lovely. We were given accommodation outside the city so if I called them they would book us taxi's. The accommodation was beautiful, very clean, modern and fully equipped. This made our stay just so perfect. I would go back 100% and recommend to everybody . Photos are view from the terrace.

Dishonest frauds that cheat tourists of their deposit

Dishonest establishment which preys on tourists, knowing that they have little recourse. I would advise to avoid all Enter Tromsø branded accommodation at all costs.
They promised a refund of the damage deposit of 2000 NOK within two business days but failed to deliver.
When I went to their counter for answers after one week, they claimed that they had forgotten to release the deposit and would do so immediately.
Two weeks on, there is no clear resolution in sight.
Should have sensed a red flag from the beginning when the receptionist hastily asked for 5000 NOK deposit instead of the pre-agreed 2000 NOK. The only silver lining was that I lost 2000 NOK instead of 5000 NOK as I was able to produce proof of the pre-agreed rate on the spot.
Please save yourself the stress and hassle of dealing with these frauds during your holidays and book other highly rated accommodations instead.

We'd be happy to stay there again if visiting Tromso

The room was clean, compact, and fine for our needs. Two single beds, shower, hairdryer, TV (which we didn't use) and a small, but well equipped, kitchen area (microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, nespresso machine with some pods, dishwasher, oven with hobs (which we didn't use). It's not cheap - but what is in Tromso! The staff were friendly. It's conveniently central.

Adequate abode

Easy check in at Hotel Viking.
We were helped with our bags to our apartment. We did not yet have our snow boots on and had to trudge through a snowy alley.
The apartment itself was adequate. Clean but tired (see photos) washer but no dryer (difficult to air dry in cold weather). No dishwasher.
Bathroom small but again clean. There was a soap dispenser in the shower but no obvious shampoo (maybe soap was to be used for both?)
Would have been nice to have a welcome coffee/ tea package. There was coffee and tea always available at the Viking hotel next door (which is the hotel where you check in)
Beds were very comfortable.
If you want to use the gym it is several blocks away. No sauna.
The staff at hotel (Gustav) was very helpful when we could not get a taxi. He called and when they said none was available he walked us several blocks to the bus and helped us get the app. He even helped with bags. Very much appreciated.

Beware of 'professional' interior photos

Photos show wonderful interiors of the Enter Tromso apartments. Our particular apartment located on 5 Peder Hansens gate had no resemblance. The outside shot is correct but nothing inside our ground floor apartment is detailed in any photos on web sites. Tired, a bit shabby in quite a lot of ares. Shower doors leak all over bathroom. Bedrooms (2) very small with double beds against walls. One room had no privacy curtains. Warm and comfortable I will say, but really not the quality we thought we would be getting from all of the descriptions and other feedbacks.
