Lost far from the Jabal Akhdar, a real cooler in winter.

The building with its 2 characteristic domes is isolated at the bend of the winding but well asphalted road that leads to the Jabal. Few tourists seem to stop there except a few groups attracted by low prices. The single-storey construction is neat with marble floors and vast corridors. The rooms all face south towards the vast plateau on the side opposite the entrance. They offer minimal comfort with fairly old equipment. The big problem we discover at the end of the winter afternoon is the freezing cold that prevails on this side of the plateau and the little thermal (and sound) insulation of the hotel where the reversible air conditioners rotate fully making a constant noise all night.
Meals served in the adjoining restaurant are quite good with the essential buffets but customers in fleece or down jackets do not linger too much. Please note that the property serves wine and beer and the buffet price (3.5 OMR) is very moderate. It must be said that the customers are almost captive because we do not really want to take his 4x4 in the night to meet at the restaurant of another hotel, given the few choices of this altitude resort in terms of food.
In short, everything is average without more.

EXCELLENT

The staff was very helpful especially reception staff and hotel is little bit old, and the location is very quite and peaceful and also the room rate is very low comparing other hotel is jabal akhdar
i would like to suggest everyone to stay there if you looking better sleep
