Nice hotel with very helpful staff in a nice location. Quiet room. However, wifi is very weak and kitchen was missing a lot of essential items (like eggs, tomato, lettuce etc)

Sea passion accommodation
It's an old quiet hotel.
When you arrive at the small private beach you get shocked.
However because it appeared the previous week before we arrived Crocodile had closed with a rope the beach and had warning signs.
This forced us not to snorkle on this beach.
While it was beautiful and just sitting on the beach unfortunately the sun loungers were wooden without a pillow and you couldn't sit for more than half an hour.
The girls at the front desk were excellent and helped book taxi tours, restaurants and whatever else we wanted.

Fantastic stay in a great hotel. Highlights were the staff helpfulness, close to tour companies and restaurants for pick up, the beautiful setting and the breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend. Will be coming back

Staff were very friendly and greeted us by name. Room was spacious, with a large bathroom/balcony. The big perk was the hotel has it's own dock so boats can pick you up right from the hotel.

Great to be back in Palau
A quiet, welcoming hotel with a spectacular private beach and great aesthetics. Room storage and some dining aspects need improvement, the location and sea view make it a highly worthwhile stay.
Location & Vibe
• Prime Location: The hotel boasts a great location with its own private beach surrounded by crystal-clear water and an abundance of coral just offshore.
• Atmosphere: Only four stories high, the hotel never felt crowded.
• Noise: Despite being on the main road, there was no road noise in the third-floor room at the back. It was quiet, with "heaps of birdsong" every morning.
• Cleanliness: The beach is immaculate, with staff constantly clearing debris. Ocean stewardship by the locals is highly commendable.
Room Experience
• Aesthetics: Had a sea view room with nice aesthetics that felt welcoming and looked recently updated.
• Comfort: The bed was spacious and comfy.
o Drawback: Pillows were too flat.
• Amenities: Included both a ceiling fan and AC, plus a smart TV with apps (could not connect to local stations).
• Bathroom: Plenty roomy with a brilliant hot shower and fresh towels changed daily.
• Size & Storage: Room size great and very adequate without feeling cramped.
o Drawback: Not enough storage for a week's stay, making it impossible to unpack two suitcases.
️ Food & Dining
• On-site Coffee Shop: Located at the front, offering delicious cakes and gifts.
• Breakfast Buffet (Included): Hit and miss and changed daily, with nothing exceptional.
o Highlights: Egg station was a bonus (everything made fresh). Good bread options, including a favorite: purple yam and cheese.
o Lowlights: Fruit supplied was mostly oranges (had to ask for bananas). There was only one domestic toaster, with only one side working properly.
Getting Around & Services
• Walk to Town: About 20 minutes into the town center. The location being "a little way out" contributed to the quiet atmosphere.
• Transport Options:
o Local Bus: Runs about every hour with a flat rate of $1 (last run around 3 pm).
o Taxi: The front desk can arrange a taxi.
• Staff: Mostly very helpful and always willing to organise transport and tours, though they occasionally struggled with the Aussie accent.
o Improvement: Staff should promote tours better; there were no brochures on display without asking.
Hotel Facilities & Improvements
• Pool/Beach Area: Never felt too busy, but the pool area "could use some updating and tidying up."
o Improvement: A few more deck chairs on the beach and pool surrounds are needed.
• Dive Shop (Unpromoted): The hotel owners/staff do not promote the in-house dive shop or its facilities (e.g. no mention of snorkelling gear hire).
o Guests from US, Canada, NZ, and Australia were steered to other nearby operators (Fish and Fins, Neco, Sams Tours) despite Chinese in-house guests using the dive shop regularly. This is seen as a missed revenue opportunity and inconvenience for guests.
