Great place to stay!

Very clean, friendly staff, nice location, quiet and great views of Nablus. Highly recommended. It's a little hard to find-- it's up on the tenth floor of a building on a side street. Some signs in English would be helpful.

Average hotel in Nablus:
Benefits that are:
1) The hotel owner's attitude is very kind and willing to help considerably.
2) The hotel is located in the heart of Nablus, next to the markets.
3) Fair and very acceptable price.
4) A satisfying breakfast.
5) Very efficient air conditioner.
6) The size of the rooms. (We took two open rooms).
Weaknesses:
1) Very old hotel.
2) Very bad smell in the rooms.
3) Basic cleaning only. (We found a place message without thorough cleaning).
4) No view at all. (The view was a close building - horror).
5) There is no parking for the hotel, we parked on the road opposite the hotel.
Total, not bad, but also not the best.
We were happy to meet the hotel owner, but unfortunately next time I will look for another hotel with a more enjoyable and enjoyable experience.

Good Stay

Hotel Isra proved to be a very pleasant surprise. Approaching it, I was worried. There is no sign outside in English. There is just a dark hallway going into the building where Google Maps shows the hotel to be. About halfway down the hallway on the right are two elevators. Facing them, the one of the left goes directly to the hotel; just punch the button that says, “10.” The hotel is small and is located only on this one floor. The owners speak English well and are very helpful. The rooms are very clean. The bed had nice, clean white cotton linens (sheet on the bed, pillow cases, and cover for the comforter). There is a mini-fridge, a small table with chairs, a bedside table with lamp, a dresser with mirror, a wall panel with hooks for clothing, a closet, a rack for a suitcase, a flat panel TV that has BBC News in English, an a/c which they had already set to heat since it was cold when I arrived. The bathroom is a bit small; it has hot water for the shower, and the hose reaches the sink for using the same hot water source for shaving. The WiFi tested between 2 and 7.5 Mbps download speed and at 0.5 Mbps upload speed--enough to allow me to watch a film on Netflix. As other reviewers have said, the breakfast is an outstanding feature of the hotel; it’s a personal buffet set in small dishes in front of each guest that included pita (4), foul (fava bean dip), hummus, goat cheese, boiled egg, falafel (3), black olives, olive oil, herb mixture for the stomach, fig preserves, strawberry preserves, and Turkish coffee during my stay. The bus/service taxi lot is just next door to the hotel. Downtown shopping/eating starts just two blocks away.

Amazing! Home away from home

Great hotel! The family who run (and own) it are amazing people. They made us feel at home and welcome. They spoiled us with lovely traditional breakfasts every morning. Clean rooms with airconditioning and nice views. Really good value for money. We'll visit again! Thanks!

Warm Welcoming Staff/Excellent Location

The two brother running the hotel are incredibly welcoming and supportive. Any directions on where to go or what to do is provided readily, and with a great warm smile.
The location is excellent, between the bus and taxis stations. It's a 5 mins walk to the old center, 2 to the best Kanafe place in town. Just go inside the building through the entry next to the snack bar and then find the elevator taking you up to the last floor.
The rooms were clean, had a good AC and probably the best view of Nablus. We were sad to stay only for one night. It was probably the hotel with the best price/value ratio of our whole trip.
