Functional with beautiful views.

This guesthouse is centrally located in town of Old Bank on Bastimentos. Close to several good restaurants, the local grocery store and docks to catch a water taxi from.
We stayed in a roomy studio apartment with private balcony, overlooking the bay and surrounded by tropical greenery.

Friendly hostel close to everything.

This is very much a hostel and I would say a large percentage of visitors to Old Bank stay here. Good location in town and it has good open areas with hammocks and a communal kitchen.
Enrique is friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. About half an hour walk to beautiful Wizard Beach. Lovely to lie out but waves are big. Surfers love it but swimmers need to be cautious.
The trail is picturesque. We saw sloths and huge spiders on our way along.
Good place to stay overall. We loved the food and atmosphere at Lysset Place beside the main pier.
