Best place at Bocas del Toro
Although we hesitated a little before entering, as soon as we stepped through the garden gate, we were greeted by an incredibly beautiful place. The view over the water was even more stunning than we had imagined. The staff were so friendly and helpful that it made the place feel even more welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic; you couldn't possibly find a better breakfast in Panama. It's the best place to stay in Bocas del Toro.

Amazing and Social

We had such an amazing stay at BarrBra in Bocas del Toro! The property is absolutely beautiful, sitting right on the water with the most peaceful and scenic views. The location couldn’t be better, just a quick trip from the airport and super close to town, making everything easy and convenient.
One of our favorite parts was all the activities available. You can rent e-bikes to explore the island, and they also have paddle boards and kayaks you can use right from the property, which made it so fun to be out on the water.
Mike and Jaime, the owners, truly made the experience unforgettable. They were incredibly welcoming, and by the end of our stay, we felt like we had made real friends. It was also so special meeting other travelers from all over the world, such a great, social atmosphere.
If you’re heading to Bocas del Toro, BarrBra is an absolute must-stay. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Chillest chill of chill
A unique, beautiful place on the water where one can truly unwind. The decoration, positive vibes of the staff, location and the detail create a truly special, peaceful experince. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in peace away from the noise of town but close enough to walk to it. The rooms are uniquely decorated with some rooms having glass in the floor that make one feel like you are in an aquarium. We were warmly greeted with a drink on the house and the staff immediatley made us feel like we were at a home away from home. They offer free use of kayaks, snorkel gear and SUPs. Barrbra provides unlimited spring drinking water for free as well as an amazing breakfast. They also have water taxis that pick you up from their dock to go on some pretty epic adventures. We defintiely got our moneys worth. Our favorite stay in traveling all the Americas!

A slice of Latin Luxury
What a cool quirky place. Totally relaxing, needless to say, stunningly beautiful and you can swim right off the deck. When you get out of the water, you can still watch the fish through the glass floors! We stayed in the Casita for two nights which was luxurious and then a regular room. Both were super comfortable; love all the teak furnishings. The fresh fruit and omelette at breakfast were divine. Owners JamieLynn and Michael have labored hard to add the extra touches that make a visit extraordinary. I will definitely go back for another taste of Bocas deToros. Yum.

Too bad for the spent holidays
No information on arrival, no assistance or information/suggestions for excursions or restaurant visits. Room cleaning deficient. The two bath towels had to be placed in front of the windows as protection from the water entering.

Information is always provided to our guests on arrival. Our website contains loads of helpful information for exclusive tours, restaurant recommendations, etc. During this guest's stay, Bocas Del Toro experienced exceptionally difficult weather conditions. Prolonged heavy rains, strong winds and unusually rough seas affected the entire island. Every home and hotel experienced water entering in places where it usually does not.
Regarding the towels and water, we would have appreciated knowing during your stay so we could address it immediately. That’s certainly not the standard we aim to maintain. Our staff went above and beyond to change the bedding and clean the casita during your stay. We also provided complimentary personal laundry services and stayed attentive and polite with your daily complaints. Even offering you a refund to compensate for any discomfort.
