Very disappointing despite the location
For the rest, the disappointment is total. I arrive at 10:30 PM with a child... no one offers to help me carry my suitcase up to the 3rd floor without an elevator (steep stairs)... but I am not offended by it more than that (I notice it all the same). Arriving in the room, the problems begin and were NEVER resolved even though we spent 3 days there and I told the front desk every time I passed by:
- A/C that works VERY poorly... we have trouble getting it to start, when it starts it leaks and it is impossible to set it to the temperature we want... in short, polar cold
- water leak in the bathroom (was repaired after 24 hours) and wet floor and, therefore, slippery
- shower impossible to get working: completely dysfunctional at the level of the faucet which threatens to detach from the wall. We don't know how to open it, nor how to get the temperature we want... and when, after 20 min, we manage to get it running... we can no longer turn it off!!! I told the front desk at least 10 times without anything ever happening.
- the room is moderately clean
- the cleaning was never done (even though it is an asset in a hotel of course when you spend several days)
- on rooftop party nights (and that is often), you really hear everything from the music of the rooftop in question
- staff welcome at the reception decent but stereotypical, without much warmth.
There you go, if we come back, we will go elsewhere!

Run away!
It was a stay like never before and yet we travelled a lot throughout our seventies.
The room that was allocated to us did not have safe or ironing facilities, seating area or city views contrary to what is indicated in the reservation! When we returned to the room the second day, we had the unpleasant surprise to find that the room had not been cleaned or dressed and had remained in the state in which we had left it in the morning. To our complaint at the reception , we were told that the room staff had left and that we had no choice but to accept this state of affairs and to keep, among other things, the towels of the previous day.
No kettle and of course no coffee machine. It was necessary to ask for 2 glasses of water because none available in the room.
The icing on the cake, huge difficulties to sleep because adjacent to the hotel, there is a building occupied by squatters who feast very loudly much of the night.
All this at a cost of more than $500!!! when the price of such rooms should be around $80 maximum per night. A shame!
So I totally advise against this place. Run away!

Old Town Charm, classic vibe!
However, I visited the excellent lobby and hotel in old town, on my way to the Panama Canal Museum.
On my next trip, I'm staying here!
