This hotel is simply fine.

We were looking for another part of town to stay in and ended up here. It was fine. The rooms are okay. View of an alleyway. The area around it is okay. About a 10 minute walk to a brewery and distillery. If you could stay anywhere in Panama, I wouldn't choose this hotel. However, if you're looking for a spot to stay for only one night before going to the airport? This one is fine.

Great Place to Stay

My spouse and I were stranded in Panama City (because Copa Airlines is the worse), and since I’m a Wyndham rewards member, this hotel was a good fit. The price was great and the property was beautiful. The man working when we checked in just before 1:00 AM was so accommodating and friendly. He was the only positive person we encountered that night. On top of that, the room was clean and comfortable and the property was very nice. If I’m ever in Panama City again, rather by forced inconvenience like this time, or for just visiting, I’d definitely stay there again.
Thank you so much to this property for being the only positive experience in Panama. I am truly thankful.

Great location! Everything easily walkable. Great selection of restaurants nearby and small stores. Room was very clean as well as the common areas. Liked that they have elevator key card access to room and amenity floors. Front desk, housekeeping, and pool bar staff were accommodating and friendly. There were a couple of female restaurant staff that seemed not so excited to be at work, but not rude. Great place for the price point. Will return!

I had a wide view of the city, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was professional and nice. The location wasn't too far from Via Argentina, so I was able to walk and find some good food. There were also convenient bodegas nearby. I think Uber drivers must have been lurking about because waiting for an Uber was literally within 30-60 seconds on some occasions. I guess because there are so many hotels in that area.
The hotel is eco-friendly; if you want fresh towels, be explicit and throw them in the hall in a pile. The grout in my bathroom and shower needed some touch-ups but everything was functional. Given the reasonable price that I got for the room, the stay was pretty good.

Decent hotel for a night or two, but I’d recommend the Casco Viejo neighborhood instead.
