This is a 2 star hotel without air conditioning but the did provide a fan and to my surprise it was comfortable sleeping. The staff was very nice and helped me order pizza for delivery.

Clean, safe and lovely little hotel in Chiclayo

This is a simple, clean and nice little hotel. It's conveniently located walking distance to the city center. It's also within walking distance (200m) from the Cruz Del Sur bus terminal. Right across is a nice seafood family restaurant, about 2 blocks away coffee 411 offers a great cup of joe.
The room is clean, quite big.
The only real con is that the window is thin so you hear traffic during the day and locals love their horns and honk a lot even though the hotel is in a small side street that doesn't get so much car traffic.
The family who runs it is lovely. Even after we checked out and were hanging around the rooftop terrace waiting for our night bus, they offered us to use the room for the toilets and a quick shower. They kept our bags in a secured room.
Breakfast was included and served in their nice rooftop terrace. It's not a buffet, you have to tell them at what time you want it when you check in.
A lovely, unpretentious little place in Chiclayo.

Three Star Hotel with Five Star Service

This is a quiet, family-run hotel about five blocks from the cathedral and the main commercial activity. We looked at hotels in the center of Chiclayo and would have had to pay double for rooms not nearly as nice as those at the Tamaris.
The Tamaris is doing everything right. It is spotless, quiet, comfortable, and safe. They go beyond doing everything right and make the stay memorable with the little touches: chocolates waiting on the desk after the room was cleaned, a comforter waiting on the bed when we returned to the hotel on the colder nights, detailed instructions on how to get to the remote off-the-beaten-path tourist destinations.
I could go on-and-on about the excellent people working there, but I'll summarize it by saying that you will not find better, customer-oriented service than at the Tamaris. Gracias Leidy y familia!

Hotel Bueno

Buen hotel, relativamente al centro de la ciudad, las personas que te atienden son muy amables y serviciales. Las habitaciones van de acorde al precio que te dan. El baño del cuarto estuvo bastante limpio. Nos faltaron toallas, pero lo solucionaron de inmediato, una buena opción.
