Wonderful.
Lovely place surrounded by nature.
We also used the natural spa site in this place, nice experience.
Crossing a Tibetan "pseudo" bridge, you reach the enclosures where there are beautiful llamas and alpacas, and also a little dog who enjoys making them angry, very nice ahahahah.
The rooms are very innovative and careful to use materials suitable for environmental protection and are equipped with everything you need.
The restaurant is very chic and the choice is wide, dinner was very welcome.
Normal breakfast, but enough to find what you may like.
Staff helpful and courteous.
To return, if possible, in a hurry. Too bad we were only there one night.

Very very very good
Top Top place. great views. Good check in, great room, nice views, good bed and bathroom, felt safe. very good restaurant. nice food, good service, would go back, nice treks and walks close by. hot springs were brill. Top, good spa, good price also. Nice staff. very helpful.

Great location but otherwise underwhelming
Starting with the positives, Colca Lodge is superbly located with lovely views of the magnificent Colca valley. The hot springs are also a wonderful feature. The staff were cheerful and friendly in the main and the food was pretty good.
However, we were underwhelmed by our overall experience at Colca Lodge. First and foremost, it was really cold. A plug in heater meant our room was just about habitable but the restaurant and other common parts just weren’t heated properly. We ate dinner with our coats on a couple of times.
The property is very dated and in need of a thorough refurbishment. I guess the location and the views mean that the tour groups (of which there were many when we were there) keep rolling in whatever the state of the property so I can see why the management wouldn’t want to make the investment - but it just felt really tired. Our room was ok but the shower was terrible, on arrival the bin was full of the previous occupants’ rubbish and our towels weren’t replaced one day. First world problems of course but the fact is that Colca Lodge is simply not in the same league as the other properties we stayed in during our holiday in Peru.

The swedish massage was very relaxing. I like the essentials oils they used. We enjoyed the thermal pools and visiting the alpacas and llamas at the ranch.

Spectacular view
I think this hotel has the most beautiful view of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were comfortable, hot springs and alpaca farm definitely worth a visit. Lovely breakfast spread and dinner on both nights was delicious. My only complaint was that the restaurant was cold for both breakfast and dinner and very smoky as the stove doors are left open. Wouldn’t let that put anyone off.
All the staff were friendly and helpful especially our waiter Abel.
There are lots of steps on the property so maybe difficult for anyone with mobility issues
