Horrible! Do not recommend!!!
Positive points:
It has a location close to the weapons plate... however, to go back to it climbs a slope, which with altitude is bad!
They kept my suitcase until a certain time after check-out.
Now the negatives:
First I had a big annoyance with the owner of the establishment, because I bought the take-off voucher very early and never got contact with them, but I trusted in take-off, and only on the day of my stay that answered me, arriving there, the owner charged me an extra value that gave me around about 400 reais because according to him they didn't sell for take-off and this amount that I paid at take-off was wrong, claimed that there was no room with private bathroom in my purchase, being that it was in the voucher. After a lot of confusion, I paid them $42 because it was almost 23:00 and it was very cold in town. I had no other choice at the time, when I entered the room, I realized it was the same room as the ad, but he made me pay more for it.
Arriving in the room, very cold!!! To my surprise I did not have a heater, however, this tbm was in my purchase voucher. So, don't trust, vcs are going to get too cold in this place. Luckily I had taken thermal clothes and made pyjamas.
The breakfast... bad! Mostly for us Brazilians, I don't know if it's the guest house or if it's cultural, they don't serve a coffee like ours, it's something like a "coffee essence" that mixes the hot water, two breads that look like a hard cake, and a small portion with a fruit with a passing face. It's tea... basically it's every day.
Another detail... the room looks dirty, it's pretty old, the bathroom the taps were cold and the shower, to my surprise for two days I arrived from tours where I spent the whole day outside and when I arrived it was 7 degrees, the shower didn't heat up, it didn't work for two days. That was awful! They made me take a bath in the shared bathroom with stranger even I having overpaid for the private bathroom which he claimed did not have on my voucher. I had to threaten the owner to see if it resolved. In the end; changed me to a little better room on the top floor, where I had to go up with 4 bags.
I do not recommend this place, lack of attention and respect for the customer, a disregard. I've had so much anger that it almost spoils my perception of destiny itself, Cusco. Of the 7 days I spent there, I believe I only had this coffee of their 2 days, I went turning myself as I could... the place is bad! And the owner acted in bad faith to charge me too much.
One detail, the towels in the first bedroom were dirty, worse than flooring. I complained and he dared to say it was my lie.
The room does not have enough sockets and those that had, were far from the bed, this for people who travel and need to recharge the nearby cell phone for alarms to not miss tours is terrible. The socket was near the floor, I had q to stay down and there was no support table, so the cell phone was charging on the floor. There was dirt under the beds... Shit!
It’s not an exaggeration, I’m a super calm person with no freshness, but everything has a limit. This place, if it were for free, would still be very expensive!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY!!!

Poor show
When we arrived, they couldn't find our booking and took a good long while locating it on a different system after having to call someone else to help. After a long night bus, we were tired and ready to get in the room so really not what we needed. It also seemed that because they couldn't find our booking, they were not ready for our arrival at all. The lady on reception who checked us in then went to "finish" cleaning the room a good while later she came back and said it was ready. Got the impression the "finish" cleaning the room was actually a frantic "lets look at least we've done something".The floors were filthy, last occupants make up sponges, hair and bobbles on the floor in the room and the shower, tooth paste still on the shelf in the bathroom but at least the bed was clean so we took it.
During the stay they had a problem with the water so the sink spat while running and then no hot water at all for one night, which I guess can happen to anyone.
We then returned to check back in after a 4 day tour to be told there was no room because a pipe had leaked. Fair enough they had attempted to contact us but as our 4 day tour was without wifi, these messages weren't received but the lady on reception really did not seem bothered that we had nowhere to go and offered no help.

Mixed views
Now the cons: That same airy courtyard is faced by all the rooms so if anyone talks there in the AM (as happens when people are leaving for early tours to treks and Machu Picchu) you’re screwed if you’re a light sleeper. Especially on the lower levels. There are “silence” signs in the courtyard but they are not even adhered to by the staff. All rooms only have very light curtains so make sure to pack an eye mask if you’re affected by light like I am. WiFi is really poor on the upper floors though- I was in room 306 at first and I really struggled. Also I had miscommunication with the staff at breakfast one AM and I heard her still talking about me with the staff in the front room. I know Spanish, idiot! So unprofessional. Finally, I had to get a receipt for my stay and for some reason this process took 10 hours, which makes me really doubt the staff’s mental abilities.
So in the end would not be sure I would stay here again.
