The place is very nice and cozy, the hosts are very friendly and helpful.
The room we had was super spacious and pleasant, with a spectacular view of Cusco and heating.
Central location but with a slightly tiring climb.

Top address

We spent 6 great nights in the Maison Fortaleza. You feel like home here. The rooms are nice and the bed is very comfortable.
Ita is very accommodating and you can have great and helpful conversations with her. We were able to drop off our luggage there before checking in on the first day and were also able to store our luggage in the Maison Fortaleza during our Inca Trail. A later check-out was also possible.
We would come back in a heartbeat!

Homely, comfortable spacious accommodation in quiet area

Italia was the most amazing host. In addition to being so welcoming and providing wonderful accommodation she went out of her way to help us with some personal issues we had. Spending her own time away from Maison Fortaleza to assist us. Italia also arranged a private tour for us to sacred valley and joined us for the day as tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and made the day special for us.
Maison Fortaleza is really quaint and very clean with comfortable beds and hot showers.
If given notice Italia is able to arrange breakfast for early start tours.

Grateful for gracious hosts who open up their lovely home

Itala and Jean Claude were warm and welcoming hosts. Their lovely home is located away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough for easy access to central Cusco. They were generous with their clean and lovely home as well as local information on restaurants and activities. It’s a bit of an uphill walk from town but good training for the Inca Trail. You won’t regret staying with them!

Wonderful stay

Very happy that I chose to stay here. I had to find a place to stay after I was not happy with the place I first booked. When seeing how clean Maison Fortaleza was I immediately decided to stay here. The rooms are spaceous, the bed very comfortable and Itala is the perfect host. I would definetely recommend this place for a stay in Cusco.
