Great rainforest escape

This is a wonderful place for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy an authentic rainforest experience. Not for those who want the bustle of the city it is a nature lover and bird watchers paradise. Guests receive a perfectly adequate breakfast. The main menu is a little heavy on trout but then there’s an actual trout farm on site. The rooms are very comfortable and hot water always available in the showers.
The clubhouse boasts a bar and there is a fireplace to sit around if the evenings are cold.
For co-owner Jorge,this place represents a labour of love and he was more than happy to show us around the 20 acre plot and point out trees he had planted etc.
There are many trails to walk and a climbing wall for those interested.
It is a bit remote - a 40 minute drive along an unpaved road from Quillabamba - so one would need to bring things like snacks and books if needed. There is good WiFi. We loved the place.

Fabulous experience

A beauty in the middle of the nature of Quillabamba...the cozy rooms, the beds and super comfortable pillows, I felt like a queen...Jorge and Miguel, the hosts, took us to tour the fruit and coffee crops...at dusk. In the afternoon we had coffee next to the fireplace. They have all the comforts of a 5-star hotel. Waking up to the sound of the birds and the murmur of the waterfall is priceless. I will return with my family in July for the city's anniversary. ...

LUGAR PERFECTO PARA DESCONECTARSE

Mi Hijo menor reservo este Hotel, para pasar unos dias de relax - y El Lugar fue excelente. Buen servicio, trato amable , los dueños personalmente se encargan de los requerimientos. La Ubicacion en plena Montaña rodeados de arboles , cafetales. Cerca del Hotel existen pequeñas caminatas, para disfrutar de una catarata y un columbio colgante con vistas espectaculares.... Buena trucha.. Gracias mill

Vacaciones con mi familia/amigos

Toda mi estadis fue agradable, ya que las instalaciones y actividades fueron muy entretenidad y pase unas buenas vacaciones con mis amigos y familia. El único inconveniente que tuve en mi estadía fue que la regulación de la temperatura de la ducha era muy complicada, salia mucha agua frio o caliente
