Classy hotel with great location and staff (and well priced).
We stayed here for one night before our three day-two night Amazon trip and then stayed one night after we did our Amazon adventures…. And it was great. The rooms were huge with high ceilings, refrigerator, a great bed, and a good hot breakfast with choices. Staff could not have been nicer and more helpful, especially Claudia (super pleasant and helpful). Great location and quiet. Restaurant recommendation is “Yellow Rose of Texas”.

Old world charm and comfort
This hotel is full of old world charm, interesting architectural details, well managed and very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the family room, both before and after our trip into the Amazon, which gave us plenty of space to relax and organize. We enjoyed the hotel pool that was very clean, and larger and deeper than it appears in posted pictures.

Casa Morey es toda una experiencia histórica. Una casona de tradición y abolengo perteneciente a empoderado aristócrata ha sido acondicionada como Hotel.
La biblioteca y el comedor resultan impresionantes con su mobiliario de época, pareciera te encuentras a fines del siglo XIX en la opulenta mansión.
Habitación cómoda y respetando el estilo.

The library and dining room are breathtaking with their period furnishings; you feel as if you've stepped back into the late 19th century in this opulent mansion.

Stayed at the beginning and end of our amazon trip. Great location, beautiful big rooms, nice breakfast and they will store your luggage while you are away. Staff arranged a taxi pick up. Air conditioning was a big bonus!!!

Excellent location, interesting architecture and history, clean, good breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful. Worked perfectly for my quick visit to Iquitos.
