A perfect location

We stayed here as part of our G Adventures tour. It's in a good location and the staff are incredibly friendly. The location was perfect for getting to Barranco, Miraflores and Lima City Centre. Despite it being in a shopping centre it was relatively quiet. Only issue we had was that the main ceiling light didn't work but the lamp was more than bright enough.

Old, worn and dark hotel.

The room we were assigned was a little dark and smelled of old furniture. In the bathroom the spotlight worked intermittently (sometimes not on) and the toilet quite old.
Bed covers and sofas were very worn. The TV with an opaque screen and 2 remote controls to guess its operation.
Breakfast was very simple - bread, butter, coffee and a glass of pineapple water; it would be ideal to offer a little more variety. The staff was very friendly. The location is fine, although very noisy in the morning. There are shops and restaurants around and it is close to the Municipality.

Bohemian Charm

Close to the centre of Barranco, Hostel Gemima is really convenient and nice.
The rooms are basic but nice, the staff are friendly and the included breakfast is simple but good. It's a short walk to some nice restaurants and close to convenience stores as well.

Friendly staff

I stayed here before my tour commenced. It is centrally located, simple but has everything you need. Staff were super friendly and helpful-booked a taxi and answered any questions. Breakfast as mentioned before is simple but filling.

Ok for low budgets

Nice staff and helpful.
Breakfast two breadrolls with butter and jam.
We had a dead cockroach in the room. Otherwise it was clean.
I was traveling with an organized group and hadn’t the choice where to sleep. But wouldn’t go back to this hostel if I’m traveling by my own.
