Good location and breakfast, but an unpleasant surprise at check-out.
The worst part of my experience occurred at check-out. My stay was for 24 days, with a 4-day interim departure during which I planned to return to the same hotel. Before making the payment and confirming the reservation, I explained this situation to the receptionist and specifically asked if I could leave my luggage in the luggage storage during those four days. She responded that yes, there would be no problem, so I proceeded to finalize the accommodation with that reassurance.
My surprise came on the day I was supposed to leave the luggage. The receptionist on duty informed me that I had to pay S/70 for the luggage storage service. I explained that I had already inquired about this issue before booking the accommodation and that I had never been informed of any charge. Her response was simply: "I can't do anything for you, everything has a cost." As I was in a hurry to get to the airport, I had no choice but to pay.
The problem is not that the hotel charges for this service; it is within its rights to do so. The problem is that the cost is not advertised visibly and, above all, when I specifically inquired before booking the stay, no one informed me that there was an additional charge. Had I known, I could have evaluated other options, such as leaving my belongings at a friend's house.
I also had the impression that there is a policy aimed at generating additional income from any possible concept. An example of this was the minibar in the room: as the days went by, more and more products appeared for sale, progressively reducing the available space for the guest to store their own drinks or food.
Regarding the cleaning service, there were several details that seemed inadequate to me. During the first six days of my stay, the amenities were not replenished. It is true that I ended up buying my own toiletries because those provided by the hotel were not of good quality, but I still used the soap to wash my hands. A couple of days before my departure, I barely had half a bar that was completely worn out, and still, they did not leave a new one.
Something similar happened with the towels. While in most hotels I usually receive two bath towels, here they ended up leaving me only one. The trash can in the room was also not emptied for four consecutive days; I finally had to leave it by the door for it to be taken away. Likewise, it was necessary to request at the front desk that they inform the cleaning staff to change the glass I used for drinking, as it remained on the table for several days without being replaced despite it being evident that it was being used.
Regarding the positive aspects, the facilities and location are good. The hotel shows some wear from the passage of time, but it remains a suitable option for the price it charges. The buffet breakfast includes the essentials and also offers one or two hot dishes that change daily, a detail that is especially appreciated during long stays.
In summary, the hotel has a good location, adequate facilities, and a satisfactory breakfast. However, the lack of transparency regarding the luggage storage charge, some oversights in cleaning, and a constant feeling of additional charges or attempts to maximize consumption ended up significantly affecting my experience.

Anyways, the main parts of the property (lobby, exterior, breakfast area) were well maintained and beautiful but the rooms are outdated and the sheets were a little soiled. The A/C unit also needs to be replaced as it's very loud.
But it was a decent stay for the price. We paid for 4 nights but stayed for 3.
