Boutique hotel located in quiet Miraflora. Room is cozy though a bit old. Staff are very friendly. The receptionist can speak perfect English. Breakfast is in the lovely backyard.

Health hazard and non-responsive

Mold and damp in the room a serious health hazard. The host stopped communication when issue was raised. They were rarely on site maybe a few hours in the evening on some days.

Glaucous, shabby and mouldy.

Probably the most horrible hotel in 20 years. Welcoming hated by the 2 people who receive us. In the rooms everything is moldy, wall, curtains. The bathroom is even worse.
Breakfast served by the poor maid, 45’ waiting.
To be avoided at all costs.

Room without windows

We had room no. 5 which unfortunately has no window except in the bathroom. Like most rooms. Unfortunately it smelled quite terrible and felt damp as well. It was clean and the tpulette items were nice. But the room didn't go that way. Breakfast had to be pre-ordered on arrival and then prepared. Unfortunately there were only people who spoke Spanish and no other language what asking for luggage storage and check out time made difficult. From my point of view not recommended whether the communication before was probably very nice.

We loved staying here, it was quiet and the Miraflores neighborhood made us feel very safe even going out at night. The bed was comfortable, the housekeeper/cook was wonderful, the breakfast was a great way to start the day, the room was cleaned daily, and the shower was great. But we do have to mention that there was a strong odor of mildew when we entered the room, which we discovered was coming from the mattress and especially the shade on the window. The AC didn't move any air at all and my SO spent the first couple of days with his nose and eyes constantly running due to the mold and mildew. When we checked the AC later it was so clogged it couldn't move air and the bathroom vent was very dirty. There was a fan on the desk because the AC was so tepid. Being us we opened the windows, vented the room, let some sun into it and by the third day we were fine. We weren't mad, we were in a very humid area after all, but those shades really needed a good cleaning or a spray with tea tree oil.
