5 Star treatment
never been before the kandi palace was recommended by a friend , the location was spot on , the hotel part was amazin i understand its permanent residence " lucky people " the week stay was great the staff were fantastic , so helpful , we also had the hotel sort out our airport pick up and return , spot on time, the place was sport less in fac t my room was cleaned twice in one day,
if your on business or holiday its spot on, we eat on the top floor restaurant most days and e veryday for breakfast , alway first class

Good but noisy room on lowest floor
Clean newish room. Sadly the room was on the second floor (just above the noisy road). Although the room was towards the back it was still quite noisy due to the proximity of the bar below (featuring a loud grand) and the road - the room door is paper thin and has lots of open gaps around it.
The rooftop pool would be nice if there was more space around it to set chairs and lie down. No towels are provided. The area around the pool needs to be cleaned.
Check-in was efficient and friendly.

Fully furnished studio type rooms and very convenient for short stay.
All the necessary basics for kitchen are provided + microwave + full refrigerator.
All rooms have balcony (convenient for smokers)
Efficient and friendly staff for both lobby and Housekeeping
Nice rooftop with swimming pool

Great Value Stay
I stayed here twice last year albeit thru Airbnb and booked 3 rooms each time for colleagues who travelled with me.
We all found the hotel great value for money ,all studios were clean and comfortable, although you should remember booking thru Airbnb you do not get the Full Hotel Service e.g room clean or bed linen changes or Shower Gel etc,so just make sure you read the small print, assistance was available from our hosts if necessary if we required any of these services.Rooms had decent soundproofing with a stable wifi connection and had lovely large balconies complete with furniture.
The staff were very professional and friendly within the hotel,the pool itself was clean and practical and on the top floor.
The Top floor bar/restaurant offered great views and service in a very comfortable environment, the ground floor bar/restaurant again offered great service in an air conditioned environment.
Prices were reasonable and the quality of food and drinks were above my expectations.
Security at the hotel in my opinion was very good and I felt safe.
Location was excellent a gentle 10 minute walk to the bars,around the hotel there were laundry shops ,grocery and bottle stores as well as a number of street vendors.
Overall we all enjoyed our stays and look forward to going back.

I booked online with agent but if you go straight to hotel you will get a better deal. I stood in I-9 for 6 months at 55,000 pesos plus electricity. You need to wash your towels and linen provided. Best to go through hotel so all these services are included.
