The one thing that stood out in our entire stay was how attentive and resourceful the staff were, in particular Jommel (housekeeping) and Lucille (front desk). They made our stay impeccable despite the din of Terra Madre and the hotel being fully booked. I was blown away by how plugged in Lucille was to Bacolod and how quickly she resolved all my (not-so-easy) requests. "Maasikaso" is the word that comes to mind. Thank you!

Chose this hotel due to a previous positive experience in Henry Hotel Dumaguete. Henry Hotel Bacolod did not disappoint. I arrived before the 3pm check-in and the reception staff made sure I was not inconvenienced. The room, though small (I booked the 'small nest') was comfortable and had everything I needed. Strong shower. Food in their Primo's restaurant is good [I enjoyed my garlic chicken confit (lunch) and chorizo recado (breakfast). The coffee is weak though. Staff pleasant and responsive. Elevator quaint and slow.

The hotel was so accommodating and helpful. We booked the large room because in the app it says there’s 2 king beds in it. As a group of 3 we were beyond excited thinking we would have so much space. We were disappointed to find out it’s only one king bed and there’s no way we can have additional bed due to the restrictive space of the room. Thankfully the medium room has 2 full size beds and the attending staff suggested it to us. Although it’s a downgrade, the room didn’t feel like it at all. It was still roomy and spacious and didn’t make us feel claustrophobic compared to the large nest. It doesn’t make sense, but the medium is bigger than the large 😆😅. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. They really compensated us and didn’t charge for the extra meal since only 2 meals were supposedly included in the booking.
