The staff was so kind and friendly. The location was also good. There are some shops, farmacy and cafe near the villa.
I recommend you should stay here when you visit Bohol Island!

Very friendly people!

Our stay in the Villa was good. We stayed there two times.
The staff and owner are really friendly people with a warm heart. It was a pleasure to be their guest.
The room was good and the shared bathroom facilities were alright. It was clean and the breakfast in the morning was great. We could store our luggage there while discovering the rest of Bohol.
I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Warm welcome - very pleasant stay.

Stayed 3 nights, very nice warm welcome from Dan and Helen. Good local breakfast, nice room and perfect air conditioning. Organized scooter for us to tour island, could not do enough, very helpful lady.

Helen Makes It Happen

Thanks to the indefatigable, always helpful Helen and Villa 301's very reasonable rates, we recommend it as a base for exploring southern Bohol (and also the thronged beaches of Panglao, if that's your thing). Breakfast is included; it's communal and memorable mostly for the conversation. The premises of Villa 301 are clean. We were told that air conditioning is provided in some of the six rental rooms at double the cost of fan rooms like ours. We shared a bath. The wi-fi was now you have it, now you don't. I enjoyed exploring Baclayon itself: there's a big old church and market, whimsically decorated houses, kids and dogs playing in the quiet side streets, cocks crowing in the morning, the sun setting over Panglao Island, a crowd of men cheering on their favorites at the cockpit arena and, also on Saturdays and far more to my taste, Gennaro's seaside barbecue, where local folks and backpackers feast on fresh, nicely-priced seafood and sway to a local trio's expert covers of tunes popular 40-50 years ago.
